My vanilla extract, decanted. I’d hoped to find a smaller bottle, but this isn’t bad.


I haven’t been cooking an awful lot of late – spring fever, maybe, despite it being a very cold and wet spring. A lot of salad. And sometimes a fried egg on the salad.


Or sometimes a hard-boiled egg, some cheese, and some pickled zucchini.


Spaghetti, quinoa, and bulgar. I understand normal people use glass jars and stuff you can see through. The two on the left were pick-ups from a liquor store, I think. I got them both from the ‘rent and he’s not much for champagne or gin.


Chocolate storage.
